Stand Up To Cancer is a Entertainment Industry Foundation initiative to fund cancer research and promote collaboration versus competition among the cancer community. Since its inception in 2008, it has granted $161 million to research.

The American Cancer Society has worked for 100 years to eliminate cancer as a major health problem. It hosts events including Relay for Life, contributes to cancer research and even passes laws to to defeat cancer.
